Puducherry Sourastra (Palkar) Sabha

The Puducherry Sourastra (Palkar) Sabha is a vibrant and active community organization established in 1978 to unite the Sourastra community residing in Puducherry and foster their social, cultural, and economic development. With humble beginnings and just 100 members, the Sabha has evolved over the decades into a well-recognized society serving as a platform for unity, cultural preservation, and community service.

1978-ஆம் ஆண்டு, புதுச்சேரியில் உள்ள சௌராஷ்ட்ரா சமூகத்தை ஒன்றிணைக்கவும், அவர்களின் சமூக, கலாச்சார, பொருளாதார மேம்பாட்டிற்கும் வழிவகுக்கவும் இச்சபா நிறுவப்பட்டது. ஆரம்பத்தில் வெறும் 100 உறுப்பினர்களுடன் தொடங்கிய இச்சபா, இன்று வளர்ச்சி அடைந்து பலரது வாழ்க்கையில் முன்னேற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி வருகிறது.

The mission of the Sabha is to create a strong bond among the Sourastra families in Puducherry, promote their welfare, and preserve their cultural heritage.

Our vision is to ensure every community member feels valued, connected, and supported, while fostering the next generation’s growth and success.
புதுச்சேரியில் வாழும் அனைத்து சௌராஷ்ட்ரா குடும்பங்களையும் ஒருங்கிணைத்து, அவர்கள் நலனை மேம்படுத்துவதும், நம் கலாச்சார பாரம்பரியத்தை பாதுகாத்து வளர்ப்பதும்தான் எங்கள் முக்கிய நோக்கம்.
